About
DVD-R Technology:
Our DVD recordings are made with the latest
technology. It is a DVD-R disc that is recorded
much like a CDR disc. Our discs are compatible
with most new DVD players. We test our
recordings to verify they play properly in a DVD-R
compatible player. If you encounter playback
problems it could be that your DVD player is more
than two years old or that it is not compatible with this
DVD-R technology. Any company making DVD-R
disc recordings is bound by these technological
restrictions. Mass-produced DVDs, such as the
latest Hollywood movies, use different mastering
techniques that make them more compatible.
Please contact us if you need further clarification on
this issue.
Per manufacturers recommendations, labels should
not be used on DVD-R discs, nor should marking
pens be used on the surface. If the disc needs to be
marked for identification, we suggest using a DVD
approved marking pen to write in the clear surface
area near the center of the disc.
